Baylor Duncan is a California based artist currently living in Camarillo, CA. With her main artistic outlet being painting, she has also immersed herself in other mediums including photography, collage and fiber arts. Primarily working in abstraction, Duncan focuses on extracting colors from nature and enjoys exploring with various shapes, grids and textures. She uses her art to confront the ideas of the human condition while also striving to normalize and address mental health. Within her creative process she attempts to detach from the outside world and influences and chooses to focus inward on her own flow of consciousness. She is influenced by her anxious mind and the power of thought, and aims to channel that within each of her pieces. Her main goal within her work is to provoke her audience to think deeply about their consciousness and connection to themselves and humanity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
